SPECTRUM360

A better IOP

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a new model of treatment of OCD, integrating the best traditional evidence-based approaches with one-on-one care. Our IOP does not offer any group work, instead focusing on individualized treatment. Clients work with a team of psychologists rather than just a single therapist to create a supportive team. Our approach integrates cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) and mindfulness practices.

Fostering engagement

We believe in empowering clients through trust and collaboration. Through this, we foster clients to engage in situations that are fear triggering, but also meaningful & important.

We design specific treatments to engage the client where they live: their home, their family, their neighborhood.  Our IOP augments individual & group treatment to help extend skill development into the client's real world.

Integrated Mindfulness

We employ a mindfulness-based engagement model into each aspect of our program so that each client is learning how to observe, learn from and develop equanimity in the face of intense emotions and urges. We believe in a client-centered framework that helps empower clients both in treatment and in their lives.

We can help you with long-standing avoidance, decision making, and perfectionism that has kept you from being happier, more successful and more creative.

We are located in the the Dome Building in Westwood, although we are currently doing Spectrum 360 remotely via video.

Spectrum360 Program Basics

Spectrum360 is done via remote video conferencing. We provide individual based cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Our treatment approach is different: At Spectrum360, each client in our program works directly with a team of psychologists. Our team emphasizes a collaborative approach to help our clients. Our clients do not work with coaches and we do not do group work. We believe in providing high level care for as brief a period as possible.

Most importantly, Spectrum360 is limited to only three clients. Availability is therefore limited.

Treatment team and the client work collaboratively to assess, develop treatment plans and implement treatment plans. Each therapist has undergone extensive training in treating OCD and anxiety disorders using CBT and ERP. Dr. Motivala currently oversee's UCLA's Adult OCD Clinical and Research Training Program.
