COMPASSIONATE, COLLABORATIVE, HOLISTIC PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT

We specialize in helping people with racing thoughts, anxiety and rumination

Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT)

We focus on evidence based therapy. We do CBT and we do it well. We blend behavioral work (exposure and response prevention, behavioral activation) with cognitive work

AfFordability

Spectrum CBT offers one-on-one video-based psychological treatment on a weekly outpatient basis. We also offer brief more frequent treatment sessions, often called an intensive outpatient program (IOP). All treatment is one-on-one; we do not do group therapy.

Therapy

We offer a comprehensive assessment done by licensed trained psychologists. Do you have OCD? What other significant issues are you struggling with? What strengths can you rely on to help you get better? What issues are getting in the way of getting better?

INTENSIVE THERAPY

All of our treatment providers are licensed doctoral level providers. Spectrum CBT’s founder, Sarosh Motivala, PhD has extensive expertise overseeing and training therapists to treat anxiety and OCD. Each member of our team is UCLA trained.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a complex and debilitating mental health condition AND it is highly treatable. OCD presents itself in a variety of forms and often people with OCD also struggle with depression and other types of anxiety disorders. Spectrum CBT is a private treatment center specializing in individual (one-on-one) treatment for OCD. We offer highly specialized treatment based on the specific needs of our clients.

Anxiety Disorders are some of the most common mental health struggles individuals have. Anxiety can manifest in startlingly different ways - agitation, stomach distress, muscle tension, fatigue, racing thoughts. We have expertise in assessment and treatment of the full spectrum of symptom presentations.

Depression

Depression is combination of symptoms including depressed mood, an inability to feel pleasure, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness, trouble sleeping and a number of other symptoms. It is perhaps the most common mental health diagnosis and it is a common co-occurring problem in people with OCD and/or chronic anxiety. Psychological treatment for depressive symptoms is considerably different from treatment for anxiety. At Spectrum CBT we have an integrated protocol that allows us to specifically target depressive symptoms to help our clients overcome this debilitating condition.
